Cancun prides itself for being the top tourist destinations in Latin America, and this opens up the doors to more and more business companies each month, Either a service provider or entertainment one.
The perfect example is the brand new Water park open in the Mayan Riviera: Jungala. A Luxury park with slides and rollercoasters that reminds me of Disney Springs in Florida.
Yes as the name says it, its surrounded by jungle, and has several attractions for all ages, the whole park is delimited by a lazy river, that allows you to see it either walking or in floaties, something kids and babies enjoy so much.
It has VIP cabanas to rest through the park, having 3 types available, the jungle ones, the river ones, and the wave cabana, making a total of 19 resting places, those have an additional fee to the park entrance, and the maximum occupancy of these are 4 adults and 2 kids, they have VIP amenities, like special canapes, sparkling wine, and flavored water, and private use or bathrooms and showers also all the cabins will have personal concierge.
The attractions in the park are rated on the level of difficulty.
Lazy Rio - the river that surrounds all the park, with a bit over 1 kilometer long, during this path, you'll see bridges, caves, waterfalls, and fountains in the middle of the river, and enjoy seeing the other attractions, and hear the screams of excitement from the other guests.
Brave wave pool - a big pond in the middle of the park, that makes waves for everyone to have fun in, it is not too deep, so it's incredible for all, and has natural sand to simulate the beach, with umbrellas and suntan beds to chill also.swim against the current, do some body surfing, or just let your body get dragged by the smooth waves.
Aqua play rain fortress - is the little kids playground, features a lot of waterslides of all shapes and sizes, net climbs and a series of stairs & passages ways that connect the whole unit, another cool thing, is it has a giant bucket on top, that every 10 min, splashes the water inside it to the kids playing around it, you can watch your kids from the lounge chairs located there, or comfortably, below the shadow of the restaurant that is just in front.
Tropical whizzard - the race is on, this is a water slide for all the family, up to 4 people can have their slide tube, and see go gets first to the bottom, sliding thru twist and turns, gaining some velocity on the way down.
Beachside boomerango - a dive in a donut floater that takes you two spins to gain speed before encountering a vertical tube, and then taking a backside freefall into the pool.
Hoop hoop aqua loop a waterslide in a loop, where you reach major speed while on it, gravity will do the rest, the turns and twists will maintain you on edge.
Paradise free fall - not for the faint of heart as it's a ride that takes a vertical drop, at high speed with some turns, ending in the peaceful pool, only one person per tube is allowed.
There is a SPA on the premises, for those who feel the need to relax, even more, also has an adults-only pool, to rest away from the crowd, before or after getting a soothing massage.
Of course, there are restaurants and 3 bars inside the park, on the waves snack hall that I mentioned before is in front of the kid's waterpark, and 3 bars along the park: sand-gria, Mojito Bendito and Cocoyol, the last one being a swim-up bar next to the lazy river.
Has two shopping stores, one for souvenirs, and another one is a drug store, with essentials as pills and sunblock.
Let me tell you a secret, there is Free wifi all around the park, and there's a hidden zone that has some hammocks to go and lay down, and be in complete contact with nature, with the cool wind breeze all over your body.
The park will limit the daily entrance, in order to maintain the VIP concept, and people don't have to wait in long lines to get on an attraction, is open each day of the week from 10 am to 5 pm, and will give you access to towels and lockers to store your belongings or a change of clothes.
In direct competition with the top parks of the zone like Xcaret, Xelha, and Ventura, this one offers, and its VIP perks will be the difference makers, the only thing I believe is missing is a surfing pool for teenagers and grownups.
Another option to enjoy with the family while on Vacations at Royal Solaris in Cancun, hope to see you soon.
