The quality of the staff is excellent; they created a great relationship with my kids, the staff went the extra mile to make sure they were happy, and on the last day, they prepared a special goodbye lunch for my older son, complete with nice decorations and a kind gesture of a gift from the staff! I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Paula, Darvin, Ann-Kristell Kaori, Allan, two Armando's, the Chef Francisco, and many others for making our stay unforgettable. The hotel is in good shape, and the rooms and common areas were very clean. While reservations were limited, we were fortunate to have the opportunity to try all the restaurants, food and service was delicious!!. The proximity to the beach is important and Transit, such as bus and taxi, was easily accessible from the hotel.

    Very well placed resort, great beach, swimming pool and next to a great golf course. Food is excellent, and a variety of shows and activities made our vacation memorable. Make sure you visit Chichen=itza, the Mayan temple, and settlement. Overall experience was excellent.

Which is better, GR Solaris or Royal Solaris Cancún?

Both resorts are great. If you are traveling as a couple, we recommend GR Solaris. Royal Solaris is mainly designed for families with young kids and features a kids’ club and a supervised mini water park.

Which Cancún hotel is more expensive, GR Solaris or Royal Solaris?

Royal Solaris is a little more expensive because it also provides access to GR Caribe by Solaris restaurants and facilities.

My flight arrives at 12:00. Can we use the hotel facilities until check-in at no extra cost?

Sure. You are free to use the facilities while we assign and sanitize your room.

Can I use the other two Solaris resorts?

No. While staying at GR Solaris, you may only use the facilities included with your stay.

Is there overnight car parking?

Yes. We provide guest self-parking, but valet parking is not available.

Does the resort offer room service?

Yes. You can order to your room for breakfast in bed or to satisfy any craving. Available from 7:00 am to 12:30 am. A service fee of 100 MXN (about US$5) applies per order.

Is there a dress code for the restaurants?

Yes. À la carte restaurants require long pants and closed-toe shoes for men. Buffet restaurants require shirts and no bare feet; wet swimsuits are not allowed.

What kind of snacks does the hotel offer?

Hamburgers, fries, chicken nuggets, guacamole, nachos, hot dogs, pizza, and sushi rolls.
