PELAGIC Triple Crown Fishing Tournament 2019

Fishing is one of the favorite activities for lovers of this sport, international tourists, and people who love to know this activity in one of the best tourist destinations, which is recognized worldwide, Los Cabos.

In this beautiful destination, international competitions occur at of this same sport, where people from all over the world come to compete, one of these is Bisbee's, but today I will tell you about another tournament that takes place during the month of June.

Triple Crown Fishing Tournament

This tournament started on June 6 and ended on June 8, 2019, in its 6th edition, where the contestants and their teams had the opportunity to win cash prizes and recognition with an estimated value of 350,000 Dollars.

With an entrance fee of 3,500 dollars, the tournament has similar rules to others in the same category, as well as additional prizes to motivate their contestants.

Of course, they also had specific fish that would give them points, and these were divided into two different categories:

In this category the marlins the objective is to obtain the most significant quantity of marlin fish, the characteristics take in consideration are its measures and weight, which would give extra points to the fishermen who caught it; then this same one would be released.

The second category seeks to capture the most abundant and most massive fish of each species; unlike the previous class in this, the amount would not give extra points.

This competition was held in Cabo San Lucas, where the fishermen left the port of La Marina in Los Cabos at 7 am and would stop fishing until 3 pm, the documentation and calculation of the fishing weight would be carried out in the coast from 3 to 6 pm, all this during all the days of the competition.

This without mentioning that during the opening of this contest, there was live music and a real party where all the contestants and their teams were present.

At the end of the competition, the winning team was the TEJAS team, who obtained the 1st place for the second year in the tournament, winning both days of the game in the category of captured Marlins, earning a check for 130,320 Dollars.
