Cancun, Quintana Roo.

The Word Cancun Comes from two maya words: kaan and Kun which means cradle of snakes, or snakepit and is located on the northeast Caribbean coast of the Yucatan Peninsula in the State of Quintana Roo, Mexico, where the Riviera Maya starts and crosses different coastal cities as: Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen, Akumal, Xpu Ha and Tulum.

Wheater

Weather is fantastic most all year round with temperatures between 67 Fº to 90 ºF during the whole year. The best time to visit is from January through April, since the humidity levels are low, which makes it great for a perfect tan on the beaches or to go explore the Cenotes in the jungle.

How to get to Cancun

The fastest way to come is by plane, you have to arrive to the Cancun International Airport (CUN), which is outside of the city, 15 minutes away from the hotel zone. The airport currently has 4 terminals separated from each other, connected by an internal bus service. The major international airlines have direct or connecting flights to Cancun. Making it accesibble from almost every major city in the world.

Ground transportation

Once you land at the International Airport, it will take you approximately 15 minutes to claim your luggage and 20 minutes to reach he hotel.

If you come with transport from the airport to your hotel included you do not have to worry about anything, you have to follow the instructions given to you at the time of booking, and you will be at your hotel as soon as possible, if you prefer an independent and trusted company to be in charge of your transportation there are several options for private services.

Beaches

All the beaches of the Riviera Maya are beautiful but according to the locals the beaches of Cancun and Isla Mujeres are the best.
