Family Fun Vacations

Look, Cabo is where the rugged desert literally high-fives the ocean. It’s fancy, it’s raw, and honestly, it’s my favorite place to be. I’ve put together these itineraries so you don't have to stress about the "what next" while you’re here. These plans are smooth, rewarding, and hit all the right spots.

Day 1: Touching Down & Beach Mode

Morning

Grab your private shuttle from Los Cabos International (SJD). Pro tip: keep your sunglasses handy the second you walk out those sliding doors.

Midday

Get settled at the resort, then head straight to Chileno Bay or Santa Maria. These spots are "Blue Flag" certified, which basically means the water is calm enough for even the littlest swimmers to splash around without a worry.

Evening

Keep it easy with a casual family dinner at the resort. You’ll thank me tomorrow when everyone’s well-rested.

Day 2: The Iconic Arch & Fish Spotting

Morning

You can’t come to Cabo and not see The Arch at Land’s End. Hop on a glass-bottom boat to see the sea lions barking on the rocks at the Playa del Amor. It’s a bit touristy, sure, but the kids absolutely lose their minds over it.

Midday

Some light snorkeling to check out the local tropical fish, then back to the resort for some serious pool time.

Evening

Check if the hotel has a theme night, or better yet, head into downtown Cabo San Lucas for some authentic street tacos. Real al pastor is a game changer.

Day 3: Critters & Desert Magic

Morning

Camel Safari. It’s a classic for a reason—nothing beats that "wow" factor for the family.

Midday

You’ve got choices. Either a camel ride through the dunes (yes, camels in Mexico!) or a visit to Flora Farms. Flora is this massive organic oasis with gardens and plenty of space for kids to explore while you grab a craft cocktail.

Evening

Enjoy a farm-to-table feast at Flora Farms. Seriously, the food is so fresh it’s ridiculous. Or, just head back for a quiet night in.

Day 4: Sun, Sand, and the Marina

Morning

Spend the day at Medano Beach. It’s the heart of the action—lively, great for swimming, and perfect for people-watching.

Midday

Take a slow wander through the Cabo San Lucas Marina. Grab some local gelato—the kids will love it, and it gives you a chance to browse the shops for something unique.

Evening

Fresh seafood dinner overlooking the yachts. Watching the lights hit the water as the sun goes down? Perfection.

Day 5: Whales (Hopefully) & Heading Home.

Morning

If it’s winter (Dec-Mar), you absolutely have to go whale watching. Seeing a humpback breach is... well, it’s a lot to take in. If it’s off-season, just soak up every last bit of that resort sunshine.

Midday

Last-minute souvenir hunting at Luxury Avenue or one final dip in the pool to freeze that vacation feeling in your mind.

Evening

A quick snack, a final look at the ocean, and then it’s time for your shuttle back to SJD. Safe travels!

The Romantic Getaway (5 Days)

A curated escape for couples who want that perfect mix of "don't disturb me" luxury, incredible food, and actual soul-soothing wellness.

Day 1: Arrival & Unwinding

Morning

Land at SJD and get whisked away to your hotel. Direct and easy.

Midday

Pop the champagne. Whether you're lounging by your private plunge pool or just staring at the horizon from your balcony, just breathe. You're finally here.

Evening

Go big for dinner. Either something chic in San José or find a spot in Cabo San Lucas with a direct view of the Arch. It sets the tone for the whole trip.

Day 2: Sea of Cortez & Spa Bliss

Morning

Charter a boat to Lover's Beach. It’s tucked between these massive, craggy rocks—super romantic for a few photos and a bit of snorkeling.

Midday

Head back for a couples' massage. I'm telling you, Cabo spas are world-class for a reason. Don't rush it.

Evening

An intimate dinner at the resort’s signature restaurant. Sometimes the best nights are the ones where you don't even have to leave the property.

Day 3: Deep Relax & Toes-in-the-Sand

Morning

Keep that relaxation rolling. Maybe try a traditional Temazcal ritual—it’s an ancient steam bath that’s a bit intense but leaves you feeling incredible.

Midday

Do absolutely nothing. Beach, book, nap. Repeat as necessary.

Evening

Splurge on a private beach dinner. Just you, the stars, and the sound of the waves. It’s unbeatable.

Day 4: Art, Culture & Slow Vibes

Morning

Lazy breakfast. No alarms allowed. Maybe a quick stroll on the sand or just lounging by the infinity pool.

Midday

Catch up on that reading you’ve been putting off. The lobby lounges here are usually stunning and surprisingly quiet.

Evening

If it’s a Thursday, you’re hitting the San José del Cabo Art Walk. The galleries stay open late and the whole district comes alive. Grab dinner in the historic center afterwards—just make sure you book ahead, as it gets pretty packed.

Day 5: Serene Adventures & Final Toast

Morning

Wake up early for a round of golf on a world-class course or do a quick photo session on the beach while the morning light is still soft and golden.

Midday

A long, late lunch and one last poolside lounge session.

Evening

One final sunset dinner by the water. Raise a glass to a trip well-spent before your transfer back to reality.
